  • Day 1

    Meet your guide at Mwanza airport and transfer by road for about 2 hours to Little Okavango Camp through the unusual city of Mwanza known as the “Rock City”, due to its huge boulders scattered across the wider landscape. Arrive at the intimate Little Okavango Camp in time for lunch and in the late afternoon, enjoy a gentle canoe ride.
  • Day 2

    After breakfast, head out for a full day’s game drive in Serengeti National Park returning to the camp in the late afternoon, early evening & relax and enjoy evening birdsong as you get ready for dinner.  
  • Day 3

    This morning, explore the fishing village of Mwaburugu along Lake Victoria coastline. You will leave the camp by vehicle and return by motor boat, stopping for a delightful brunch at the Little Okavango amazing tower. After lunch and a rest, enjoy a guided bird walk on the camp's grounds or a bike ride through the open bush and village farms between the Serengeti boundary and the lake.
  • Day 4

    Today enjoy  another full day game drive in Western corridor of  Serengeti National Park, returning to the camp in the evening. 
  • Day 5

    Drive to Mwanza in the morning to connect with a flight to Dar es Salaam and onward to the Spice Island of Zanzibar. Meet your driver at Zanzibar airport and transfer to UNESCO world heritage site, Stone Town. Self-explore the narrow alleyways of the old town in the late afternoon. Overnight at Maru Maru hotel. 
  • Day 6

    After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the north part of the island to Nungwi where The Zanzibari boutique hotel is located.  The hotel is close to the Mnemba atoll, famous for its diving. Settle into the hotel this afternoon and explore the beach. 
  • Day 7 - 9

    Relax at The Zanzibari boutique hotel. You can opt to go on a number of excursions from the hotel (extra cost) including a sunset cruise, visit to historical stone town, snorkeling trip & diving, other watersports activities and a guided tour of the nearby fishing village of Nungwi with the “man who knows everybody” and who also happens to be one of our managers.
  • Day 10

    Transfer to Zanzibar airport to connect with international flight home.
